Join us in the Lyons Township for a hands-on learning session on Saturday, December 6th as we tackle the challenge of managing woody invasive species. Together, we will learn from experts at Midwest Prairies and Native Range Ecological as they demonstrate how to properly remove woody invasive species such as buckthorn, honeysuckle, and tree of heaven.
During this free workshop, you’ll:
- Learn to identify and remove common woody invasive species.
- See live demonstrations from experts in the field on a variety of responsible removal methods, such as brush cutting, cut-stump treatment, and proper herbicide use.
- Discover how managing your land supports our local biodiversity.
