Price Park Conservancy and Natureland Park
Kettle Moraine Land Trust partners with Walworth County to help manage the best natural areas within Price Park Conservancy and Natureland Park. Together our organizations can do more to help improve these important community spaces. KMLT developed restoration and management plans for both parks that outline the significant natural resources in the parks, and indicates which methods are best for restoring the natural areas to great ecosystem health.
Together, KMLT and Walworth County park staff plan and schedule volunteer workdays for the community. At the workdays many different activities take place. Depending on the season task could include cutting invasive species, planting wildflowers and native grasses, collecting seed, removing litter and trail trimming.
