Volunteer
Nonprofit organizations thrive because people like you care about them. Because our purpose aligns with your values, we can work together for the common good. Naturally, we appreciate our members and donors—and our volunteers.
We would love to have you share your time, your talent, your passion for nature, to help us fulfill our mission. Kettle Moraine Land Trust can offer a wide range of opportunities to get involved.
- If you want to be outdoors, in direct connection to the land, and you like physical exercise, then habitat restoration may be a good fit for you. Join us in our work to restore our preserves or other properties that we help to manage.
- Those who like to be around people and have friendly, outgoing personalities might like to assist with some of our special gatherings. There are many roles to fill at education and outreach events; we need greeters, guides, ambassadors, registrars, and other helpers.
- Perhaps you prefer to work behind the scenes. From time to time we could use help around the office, whether with filing, graphic design, writing, or technical support.
Whatever your talents or inclinations, if you believe in Kettle Moraine Land Trust we would welcome your engagement as a volunteer. Drop me a note with your contact information and an inkling of what you like to do—we’ll explore the opportunities.
After all, we couldn’t do it without you.
