Join us Saturday morning at Petersen Island Woods as we celebrate and honor everyone that has supported the new additions to our eastern brick terrace entranceway. Building on the improvements to the public entranceway, KMLT also recently received grant support to plant native plants around the public entrance that will be native to the oak woodland habitat of the preserve!
Start the day with coffee, refreshments, guided walks of the preserve and more! There will be a gathering at 10:00 a.m. to commemorate all supporters and their commitment to KMLT’s conservation efforts. Walks will be ecology based and highlight our wildlife (plant and animal) neighbors and restoration of the preserve.
All are welcome. This is a free, family friendly event. Walks start at 9am and last roughly 45 minutes. Join for all guided walks or just one.
