For 2022, we are planning some kid-centered family programming. Our first such event will be on Sat, Jan 29 from 11:00 a.m. to 12 noon at Natureland Park W8338 Territorial Rd, Whitewater, WI 53190. We’ll be exploring winter tracking, learning about the tracks and signs that animals leave behind in the snow. Who made that paw print? What was the animal doing? What other items might animals leave behind that tell us about what they were doing? This is program is designed for kids ages 6-12, and we do ask that parents stay to provide supervision and assistance; it is not a drop off program, but rather time for parents or caretakers to join with kids in eco-exploration.
