On Friday, March 2, volunteers gathered with Walworth County Parks Department workers to seed the prairie area north of the dog park. Seed was obtained from Price Park and others, over-wintered and combined with material to help it disburse over the groundcover. Seed was put into paperbags so the volunteers could scatter it around the prairie.
After the seed scattering, volunteers helped clear invasive species near the fen.
After all the hard work, they enjoyed a lunch provided by Kettle Moraine Land Trust.
