More than 100 friends of Kettle Moraine Land Trust gathered at Northwind Perennial Farm on June 8th for tours, learning, music food and beverages – all in support of KMLT’s on-going mission.
The display gardens at Northwind Perennial Farm set the scene for the evening, with landscape examples that inspired everyone. Proprietor Roy Diblik led a tour of the gardens and talked about his “know-maintenance” approach to gardening with perennial plants.
Renowned blues musician Glenn Davis performed, bringing his signature style to the KMLT stage.
Tampers Oak Fire Oven served gourmet pizzas and a variety of beverages was served.
The silent auction and raffle were a huge success. Artworks by Owen Gromme and a painting of Yerkes Observatory were featured, along with a stunning wine basket and Godiva chocolates. There was something for everyone!
The party was such a success that guests were asking Party Chair Peg Sorenson to do it again next year! So stay tuned for the next adventure!
