SUMMARY:Fourth Saturday Stewardship at Petersen Island Woods Preserve
DESCRIPTION:Join us for our fourth Saturday Stewardship Day at Petersen Island Woods. Depending on the weather\, we’ll be brush cutting\, seeding\, conducting controlled burns and other natural area restoration activities conducive for the season. Bring water and dress for the weather. Ages 18 and up\, no experience needed. Children under 18 welcome with adult chaperone\, gain service hours and experience in the conservation field. \nPlease bring leather gloves if you have them and wear long sleeves – we will be working with thistle and brush.  \nRegister here.  \nWorkday may be cancelled or rescheduled in the case of inclement weather.  \n
