SUMMARY:Annual Mother's Day Bird Hike at Price Park
DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, May 13 from 8:00-10:00 a.m.\, with check-in\, coffee and muffins at 8:00 in the pavilion\, the hike begins at 8:30 a.m. \nPlease join us for a morning bird hike on Sat\, May 13th at Price Park\, N6418 Hodunk Rd\, Elkhorn\, WI 53121. Kevin Dickey\, chapter president for the Lakeland Audubon Society will lead our hike. Wear sturdy walking shoes\, dress for the weather\, and bring binoculars and a birding guide if you have them. We’ll have a few spare binoculars and guides to share as well. We’ll discuss the birds that use the prairie and woodland habitat at Price Park\, and review guidelines for identifying what we’re hearing and seeing.\nThis event is free\, but we ask that you register in advance liza@kmlandtrust.org\, we will be accepting donations to KMLT. This event is appropriate for adults\, teens and older children attending with their parents.
