SUMMARY:Annual Mother's Day Bird Hike at Price Park
DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, May 11 from 8:00-10:00 a.m.\, with check-in\, coffee and muffins at 8:00 in the pavilion\, the hike begins at 8:30 a.m. \nPlease join us for a morning bird hike at Price Park\, N6418 Hodunk Rd\, Elkhorn\, WI 53121. \nKevin Dickey\, chapter president for the Lakeland Audubon Society will lead our hike. Wear sturdy walking shoes\, dress for the weather\, and bring binoculars and a birding guide if you have them. We’ll have a few spare binoculars and guides to share\, and will also discuss the use of E-Bird birding App to help keep track of what we observe. We’ll discuss basic use of binoculars\, introduction to birding and hike to explore the prairie and woodland bird habitats at Price Park. \nFree. Registration required.
